ACT Aspire-Grades Appraisal System
The ACT Aspire assessment is an extensive program that was designed to acquire information about student knowledge and ability that he has gained in the academic year. It is used in all Arkansas State public schools. The ACT Aspire test is compulsory for every student from grade 3 to grade to Early High School.
ACT Aspire Test Format
This exam assesses student ability in Reading and Writing, Mathematics, and Science. The exam consists of multiple-choice and short questions with essay composition questions in language art tests. The benchmark score is 423. This exam is 4 hours and 45 minutes long. The student has a time limit for each subject.
The ACT Aspire Mathematics Test
The Mathematics of the ACT Aspire test simply assesses a student’s mathematics skills according to his grade level. Each grade has a particular syllabus that students must have to learn.
Math contents for 3rd-grade 5 – grade students:
- Number and Operations in Base Ten
- Fractions
- Algebraic thinking
- Geometry
- Measurement & Data
Math contents for grade 6 to early school are:
- The Number system
- Exponent & Equation
- Algebra
- Ratio & proportional relationship,
- Geometry
- Statistics & Probability,
Math Practice Test
